iMind Consulting has helped entrepreneurs start, rebuild and grow their businesses since 2010. Today we also help people take back ownership of their data.
iMind Consulting started with a simple belief: a small business deserves the same technology, marketing and management know-how as a big company, without needing a big company’s payroll.
I’m Recolon A Jumpp. I spent the first decade of my career inside Fortune 500 companies, and the years since building iMind alongside the entrepreneurs and business owners it serves. Along the way the business has grown and changed, but that belief has not.
This is the story of how we got here, and where we are headed next.
Recolon A Jumpp, Founder of iMind Consulting
More than two decades, two careers and one idea that keeps evolving.
2000
I graduated from the University of Connecticut with a degree in Marketing and Communication Sciences. I was drawn to how a clear message can move people, and how the right systems help a business grow.
2000 to 2010
I worked in sales, marketing and management for Fortune 500 companies. I learned how big businesses win customers, build teams and run on process, and I noticed how much of their advantage came from having the right tools and the people to run them.
2010
Small businesses and new entrepreneurs were trying to compete without any of that infrastructure. Internet technology was changing fast, and I saw how it could close the gap. I founded iMind Consulting to give entrepreneurs the business support and infrastructure to start up, rebuild or grow, without a large internal staff.
The early years
To deliver on that promise, I added web development to my sales, marketing and management background. Building websites and systems myself meant clients had one partner who understood both the business goal and the technology behind it.
Over the years
I have worked with music and entertainment companies, real estate developers, insurance companies and financial institutions, along with the local mom-and-pop service businesses that keep our communities running. The lesson was always the same: every business needs the same foundations. A strong start, a clear message, a website that works and systems that run smoothly.
Recently
As AI and big tech grew, I saw a new kind of gap. More of our photos, files, conversations and business data were living on someone else’s servers, under someone else’s rules and prices. I built a home lab to explore a better way, and found that for many of the services people pay for every month, there is an open-source alternative they can own.
Today
iMind Consulting is one partner for both sides of that story. We still help Florida entrepreneurs form their companies, build their websites, market their businesses and plan their next move. And we help businesses and households own their technology, use AI wisely and keep their data under their own roof.
Why digital sovereignty
As AI and big tech grow, more of our photos, files and conversations live on someone else’s servers, under someone else’s rules and prices. Digital sovereignty means owning that data and the tools that run it.
That idea led me to build a home lab, where every tool we recommend runs first. It is how we know these setups are reliable enough for your family or your business.
The principles that have guided iMind since day one, and still shape every project.
Your company, your website, your data and your tools should belong to you, not to a platform that can change the rules.
We will tell you when a paid service is the better choice, and when a project is not worth doing.
No jargon. You will understand what we set up, why it matters and what it costs.
A real person you can call, based in Orange City, Florida, who sees the work through.
